I felt like making brownies tonight and thought I had a mix. No such luck, so I pulled out the Bakers Unsweetened Chocolate Squares left from making Grandma L's Chocolate Supreme pie at Christmas and, sure enough, there was a brownie recipe printed on the inside of the box. Very easy recipe and VERY tasty!!
The recipe calls for lining the pan with foil and buttering the foil (I used cooking spray). I guess you wouldn't have to do that, but it did make cutting the brownies later a lot easier. The finished product.
And the not-quite-cooled-but-already-cut brownies! (Who can wait???) : )

ReplyDeleteThey may be the best brownies I have ever eaten. Goes great with milk or vanilla ice cream. How could I resist cutting them when the aroma awakened me from my nap. JC
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness....Mom you must show me how to make those in Denmark!! We might have to convert the units to the metric system, but I think it would be worth it. I have not had brownies since I have moved here!! Yummy!!
ReplyDeleteThey look yummy, and perfect as an after breakfast snack with some milk. :-)
ReplyDeleteFollowing up on my earlier comment, these brownies also go well with Crispix and milk, turkey and crackers, and pizza and beer. I'll keep testing and let you know what I find out. JC
ReplyDeleteI like the first picture....did JC lick the bowl clean or did that rubber spatula do the trick?
ReplyDeleteNobody licked the bowl - raw eggs. (although my finger might have accidentally gotten some batter on it that needed to be licked off!)
